Dr. Shanzhi Wang is a biochemist and enzymologist who serves as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in 2010. Before joining UA Little Rock, he completed postdoctoral research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

His research focuses on characterizing proteins involved in DNA mismatch repair complexes and on the design of enzyme inhibitors as potential drug candidates.
