Dr. Kenji Yoshigoe
Professor of computer science and cyber defense

Dr. Kenji Yoshigoe is a Professor in the College of Information Networking for Innovation and Design (INIAD) at Toyo University. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Florida.
At the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Dr. Yoshigoe served as Chair of the Department of Computer Science, Director of the NSA-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education, and Director of the UALR Computational Research Center. He founded the Computational Research Center in 2012 to support research through advanced computing resources and expanded computational capacity for academic, corporate, and government research in Arkansas.
His research focuses on algorithms, protocols, and architectures for interconnected systems, including high-performance computing, wireless sensor networks, and social networks. He is also interested in data privacy, security, and efficient data management in the era of big data.
Dr. Yoshigoe has received funding from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, and the National Institutes of Health. He has also served on editorial boards, co-chaired international conferences, and contributed to many workshops and technical committees in computing and cybersecurity.
