Sumreen Gul

Teaching Assistant at the Chemistry Department

Sumreen Gul earned an M.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan, and a B.Ed. in Chemistry and Biology from the University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. She is currently pursuing a second M.S. in Chemistry at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

She has extensive teaching experience, including six years as a lecturer at Islamabad Model College and ten years teaching at the high school level in Pakistan. After moving to Little Rock, she worked as a substitute teacher in the Little Rock School District and later served for one year as a chemistry teacher at Jacksonville High School, where she taught Pre-AP and general chemistry courses. She is currently a teaching assistant in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Her previous research focused on comparing analytical techniques for total plasma cholesterol analysis at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. This work involved evaluating methods used to determine cholesterol levels in blood plasma and improving analysis procedures. Her current research interests include computational molecular modeling techniques for studying atomic and molecular systems and understanding their chemical and physical properties.
