CMDD Winter 2025 – 2026 Newsletter

During the Winter 2025 semester, CMDD continued to expand its research visibility through conference presentations and new academic connections. The center also strengthened opportunities for collaboration while continuing to support student research and broader engagement with its scientific mission.

Key notes

  • CMDD participated in the SERMACS/SWRM ACS 2025 meeting in Orlando, where Micah Shaver and Fatima Abbas presented research in molecular modeling, bioactive molecules, and conductive thin films.
  • The semester also brought new academic connections, including potential collaborations with researchers whose work aligns with CMDD’s interests in AI, pharmacology, molecular modeling, and biomarker detection.
